TapRooted Terms of Service

Service Description

TapRooted provides tools for creating and sharing virtual business cards, public profile pages, contact details, selected links, stories, media, follow-up forms, and related profile activity features.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, for maintaining control over your account access, and for all activity that occurs through your account. You must use TapRooted in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You may not use TapRooted to:

• post unlawful, misleading, infringing, harmful, or abusive content;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• send spam, harassing messages, or unauthorized marketing communications;
• interfere with, probe, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service;
• attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, or security controls.

User Content and Submissions

You retain ownership of content you submit to TapRooted. You grant TapRooted a limited license to host, display, transmit, process, and modify that content as needed to provide and improve the service. You are responsible for having the rights needed to submit and publish your content.

Communications

TapRooted may send transactional communications related to account access, waitlist activity, contact cards, tap notes, profile activity, and service updates. Marketing communications are optional where the product presents an opt-in.

Third-Party Services

TapRooted may connect to or rely on third-party services, such as hosting, authentication, email delivery, calendar scheduling, storage, and marketing tools. TapRooted is not responsible for third-party services that are outside our control.

Availability and Changes

TapRooted is an evolving product. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also change limits, eligibility, access, or available functionality as the service develops.

Disclaimers

TapRooted is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapRooted will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to the service.

Termination or Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to TapRooted if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the service or other users, or used the service in a way that may cause legal, security, or operational harm.
